Ofsted Registration Myth-Busting
What documents are required for SC1 and SC2?
You’ll typically need a business plan and cashflow, evidence of financial viability, identity and DBS checks (where required), a health declaration, references, a Statement of Purpose and key policies. People in certain roles connected to the service complete SC2. The GOV.UK pages list the requirements and who must apply. GOV.UK+1
How long does Ofsted registration take?
Timelines vary with application quality and overall volumes. Clear, complete submissions usually move faster. Ofsted has noted higher volumes at times; following the official guidance and checklists helps. GOV.UK+1
