Website & marketing for care providers

A website and digital presence built specifically for care providers

A care provider website has jobs a general web designer will not know about: showing your statement of purpose, meeting accessibility expectations, and making your registration status obvious to commissioners and families. We build and market sites for CQC, Ofsted and Care Inspectorate registered providers, from £995.

01 · Why it matters

Care families decide online, before they ever call you

A care decision is one of the most emotional and important choices a family makes. By the time they pick up the phone, they've already reviewed your website, read your reviews, scanned your services and compared you to three competitors. If your website doesn't earn their trust in the first few seconds, they go elsewhere, and you never even know they were looking.

Commissioners and referrers do the same. ICBs, local authority placement teams, social workers and discharge planners check your website before sending an enquiry. A weak online presence costs you placements you never knew were on the table.

A proper care provider website does real work. It surfaces the right information for each audience, removes friction from enquiries, and earns the trust that turns a visitor into a phone call.

02 · Anatomy of a care website

What goes into a care website that actually converts

Every site we build is bespoke, but the foundations are the same. These are the four sections every care website needs, and why.

  1. 1

    Hero that converts

Clear, compassionate positioning above the fold. Service type, location and a single dominant call to action, built for the visitor who has 3 seconds to decide.

  2. 2

    Services with depth

The specific care services your provider offers, not generic web-template categories. Each links to a dedicated page with SEO content, FAQs and a path to enquiry.

  3. 3

    Trust signals where they matter

CQC display, verified reviews, established date and regulatory badges. Care families want certainty, so we put it in front of them instead of burying it at the bottom.

  4. 4

    Simple contact paths

Short, GDPR-compliant enquiry forms. WhatsApp click-to-chat. A phone number that opens the dialler on mobile. Removing friction is the difference between a lead and a bounce.

03 · Care marketing channels

Six digital channels, all built for care

Your website is the foundation, but marketing for care providers is what drives qualified traffic to it. We cover every digital channel a care provider actually needs.

08 · FAQs

Frequently asked questions

How long does a Cura website take to build?
Typically 3 to 4 weeks from initial briefing to live launch for the Starter and Professional packages. The Full Digital package takes 5 to 6 weeks because we set up the marketing infrastructure alongside the build. We work in defined phases (discovery, design, build, content, launch) so you always know where we are.
Can I update the website myself after it's built?
Yes. We build on WordPress, the world's most widely used platform, with Elementor or similar editors that don't require coding. You can update text, images, news and contact details yourself. For larger changes or new pages, we're available on a monthly retainer or as ad-hoc support.
Do you provide hosting and domain registration?
Yes. Domain registration, hosting setup, SSL certificates and email setup are all included in the build. We use reputable hosting partners. You own everything (domain, content and design files), so there's no lock-in.
Is the website GDPR-compliant for care data?
Yes. All forms include explicit consent, all data is stored securely and all third-party scripts are documented. We provide a tailored privacy policy, cookie policy and a GDPR audit trail. This is critical for care providers handling sensitive enquiries about vulnerable people.
What's the difference between SEO and Google Ads?
SEO (search engine optimisation) is the long-term work of ranking your website naturally in Google results: slower to build, but it compounds over time. Google Ads are paid placements that put you at the top of results immediately for a per-click fee. Most care providers benefit from both: SEO for long-term presence, and Ads for filling specific service gaps or new locations.
Will my site show up on Google Maps and local searches?
Yes, that's a core part of our Local SEO work. We set up and optimise your Google Business Profile, build local citations (a consistent name, address and phone number across the web), and structure the website for local searches like 'care home Doncaster' or 'domiciliary care Bromley'.
Do you handle Facebook and Instagram setup?
Yes. Our Professional and Full Digital packages include social media account setup, branded templates and posting frameworks. The Full Digital package also includes monthly content management. For care providers, we focus on Facebook (where families spend time) and LinkedIn (where commissioners and referrers are).
Can you integrate booking, payments or care management systems?
Yes, with most major platforms. We've integrated booking systems, payment gateways (Stripe, GoCardless), care management software (Birdie, PASS, CarePlanner) and CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce). Tell us what you use and we'll scope the integration.
What happens if I want to leave Cura later?
You own everything from day one: domain, hosting (transferable), design files and content. If you choose to move, we hand over all access and assets. We back our work, so we'd rather earn your continued business than lock you in.
