Ofsted Registration | Supported Accommodation

Complete Ofsted registration support for new supported accommodation providers for 16 and 17 year olds. We prepare your full application document pack aligned to the Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations 2023, support your submission, and coach you through the fit-person interview — staying with you until Ofsted makes its decision.

Your registration pathway

1. Onboarding and requirements gathering. We collect your service details (provider entity, responsible individual, registered service manager, accommodation type and locations) and give you a simple checklist of the items only you can obtain — enhanced DBS checks through Ofsted, GP health declarations, property leases, planning position, insurance, financial evidence.
2. Stage 1 delivery — your application pack. We prepare your full document set aligned to the 2023 Regulations and the four Quality Standards, and complete your Ofsted application with you — in as little as 3–5 working days once requirements are met.
3. Submission. We check everything and support your provider, responsible individual and service manager applications through the Ofsted portal.
4. Stage 2 delivery — assessment and interview support. Additional documents Ofsted may request, fit-person interview question-and-answer packs, a 2-hour mock interview with written feedback, follow-up with Ofsted on your behalf, and appeal support if your application is challenged.
5. Registration decision. You receive your registration and can accept placements.

• Location assessment for each setting
• Full supported accommodation policy suite mapped to the four Quality Standards — safeguarding, missing from home, behaviour and support, complaints, health and wellbeing, staffing and supervision, and more
• Workforce and staffing plan
• Ofsted application and registered service manager / responsible individual forms — completed with you

Stage 2 — assessment, interview and follow-up

• Additional documents Ofsted may request while assessing your application
• Fit-person interview question-and-answer preparation packs
• 2-hour mock interview with written feedback
• Follow-up with Ofsted on your behalf until a decision is made
• Appeal support if your application is challenged

Timescales and payment

Your Stage 1 document pack is delivered in as little as 3–5 working days once your requirements are met. Ofsted’s own assessment timescales are set by Ofsted and are outside our control.

You can pay in two stages: 50% to begin (Stage 1 document pack) and 50% at submission stage, which covers your Stage 2 documents, interview preparation, mock interview and Ofsted follow-up.

What we need from you

Some items can only come from you, and your application cannot progress until they are ready. These are your responsibility and outside our control: enhanced DBS checks through Ofsted, GP health declarations, property lease or ownership evidence and planning position, insurance quotes or certificates, ICO registration, and financial or bank evidence. We give you a checklist for all of these on day one and guide you through each step.
