Your appeal pathway

1. Urgent case review. We review your Notice of Proposal or Notice of Decision, CQC’s stated grounds, your original application and your deadline, and agree the strategy with you.
2. Stage 1 delivery — representations and evidence. We draft your written representations point-by-point against CQC’s grounds, and build the supporting evidence bundle (corrected policies, governance evidence, training records, action plan) — in as little as 3–5 working days once requirements are met.
3. Submission. We check everything and support submission of your representations to CQC within the statutory deadline.
4. Stage 2 delivery — hearing and follow-up support. Responses to any further CQC questions, preparation for the representations hearing or interview including a question-and-answer pack and a 2-hour mock session with written feedback, follow-up with CQC on your behalf, and guidance on a First-tier Tribunal appeal if the decision is upheld.
5. Outcome. CQC withdraws the proposal, grants registration, or we advise you on next steps.

Timescales and payment

Your representations and evidence bundle are drafted in as little as 3–5 working days once your requirements are met. CQC’s decision timescales are set by CQC and are outside our control.

You can pay in two stages: 50% to begin (Stage 1 representations and evidence) and 50% at submission stage, which covers hearing preparation, the mock session and CQC follow-up.

What we need from you

To meet the statutory deadline we need your documents promptly: the Notice of Proposal or Decision, your original application and correspondence with CQC, and any evidence only you can obtain (DBS checks, training records, insurance, lease and premises documents, financial evidence). Delays in providing these are outside our control and can put the deadline at risk.
